Ella Phillips, Co-Owner of Rate Money Parramatta, began her journey to Rate Money in an unexpected place—a coffee shop. In 2017, while considering a return to university for journalism, Rate Money CEO Ryan Gair presented her with a new opportunity. After working with him at RAMS, Ella discovered her passion for helping the self-employed realise their dreams and joined her now business partner, Isma Gair, in May 2020 to open the Parramatta branch.

Four years on, Ella and her team—three sales specialists and one admin—are dedicated to serving a diverse self-employed community, from IT professionals to tradespeople. What makes Rate Money special for Ella is the supportive, family-like culture where collaboration always comes first.
